Awards
Homes is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Cullman Center Fellowship from the New York Public Library, a Center for Scholars and Writers Fellowship, National Foundation for the Arts and New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowships, and the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis. Her work has been translated into 22 languages.
