Plans
The Highways Agency is currently in the final stages of developing a scheme for an interim improvement of the M40 junction 9 southbound exit slip road. The work is planned to take place in September 2010.
The scheme will provide three lanes for traffic wishing to join the A34 southbound from the M40. Following completion of the work, the Highways Agency will conduct a study looking at the benefits the work has delivered.
