The 944 Cup Racing Series is an amateur racing series on the east coast for the Porsche 944. The race was created as a standalone series in 2002 and has operated within numerous sanctioning bodies. The grassroots efforts of the National Auto Sport Association has aided in the growth of the Series, which ensures that it currently operates primarily within that sanctioning body.
Famous quotes containing the word cup:
“In poorer lands
No one touches the water of life.
It has no taste
And though it refreshes absolutely
It is a cup that must also pass
Until everybody
Gets some advantage....”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
