48681 Zeilinger (1996 BZ) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on January 21, 1996 by E. Meyer and E. Obermair at the Davidschlag Observatory, Linz.
2005 the asteroid was named after the Austrian quantum physicist Anton Zeilinger, as a present for his 60th birthday.
