3rd The King's Own Hussars

The 3rd (The King's Own) Hussars was a cavalry regiment in the British Army, first raised in 1685. It saw service for three centuries, before being amalgamated into The Queen's Own Hussars in 1958.

Famous quotes containing the word king:

“I see nobody on the road,” said Alice.
“I only wish I had such eyes,” the King remarked in a fretful tone. “To be able to see Nobody! And at that distance too! Why, it’s as much as I can do to see real people, by this light!”
Lewis Carroll [Charles Lutwidge Dodgson] (1832–1898)
