227th Infantry Brigade (United Kingdom) - World War I

World War I

227th Brigade was formed on 1 January 1917 from Provisional Battalions organised in 1915 from Home Service personnel of the Territorial Force. They were renumbered as battalions of their parent regiments. The brigade was quartered in Suffolk and had no divisional allocation.
