The 2009 Skate America was the Skate America Grand Prix competition of the 2009–2010 figure skating season. It was the fifth event of six in the 2009–2010 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. Skaters earned points towards qualifying for the 2009–2010 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. The event was organized by the United States Figure Skating Association. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 2009, Skate America was held in Lake Placid, New York from 12 November through 15 November. The title sponsor was Cancer.Net.
