The 2007 Parramatta Eels season was the 61st in the club's history. They competed in the NRL's 2007 Telstra Premiership, finishing the regular season 5th (out of 16), and came within one match of the grand final only to be knocked out by eventual premiers, Melbourne Storm (who would later be stripped of this title after being found guilty of salary cap breaches).

Famous quotes containing the words eels and/or season:
“Going down for the last time, the last breath lying,
I grapple with eels like ropes—it’s ether, it’s queer
and then, at last, it’s done. Now the scavengers arrive,
the hard crawlers who come to clean up the ocean floor.”
—Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
“Business by no means forbids pleasures; on the contrary, they reciprocally season each other; and I will venture to affirm that no man enjoys either in perfection that does not join both.”
—Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)
