Bulls new signing David Solomona orchestrated a tense opening 'engage Super League' win for the Bradford Bulls over the Huddersfield Giants. Bradford Bulls defeated Huddersfield Giants 18-14. In round 2, Bradford played Warrington Wolves with new boy Michael Platt grabbing an impressive hat-trick of tries as Bradford Bulls staged a magnificent recovery to make it two opening wins in the engage Super League this season. The score was 36-20. Bradford played Wigan Warriors at Grattan Stadium. This was the first game back at Grattan Stadium since the departures of Brian Noble and Stuart Fielden. Bradford won by 32-28 in another narrow victory. Lesley Vainikolo scored 3 tries against Wigan Warriors as he did in 2004 and captain Paul Deacon scored his 2,000th point as the Bulls made it three wins out of three to top the table.
