2006 New York Yankees Season
The New York Yankees 2006 season was the Yankees 104th season in New York, and their 106th overall going back to their origins in Baltimore. The season finished with the Yankees winning the AL East Division. They were defeated in the Division Championship by the Detroit Tigers in a 3-1 series.
