Mark Dudbridge continued his fantastic run at the World Matchplay by knocking out 10th seed Ronnie Baxter in a great semi-final. Dudbridge winning 17-13. In the second semi, John Part, tired after two close games bowed out to fourth seed, Phil Taylor, with Taylor going through an impressive 17-8 winner.
