2002 Philadelphia Eagles Season

The 2002 Philadelphia Eagles season was their 70th in the National Football League. The team improved upon their previous output of eleven wins, going 12–4 and making the playoffs for the third consecutive year.

The Eagles' record gave the team a tie for the best record in the NFL, and due to tie-breakers, gave them the number-one seed in the NFC, a first-round bye, and home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.

The Eagles were ultimately defeated at home in the 2002 NFC Championship Game by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who eventually won the Super Bowl.
