The 29 January debut of 1 vs. 100 did extremely well in the ratings, and was the most watched program of that particular night. A peak audience of 2.4 million viewers and an average audience of 1.95 million watched the show in Australia's capital cities. The second episode went to air on 5 February and narrowly lost in viewers to the season 3 premiere of Desperate Housewives in a competition for viewers against the Seven Network.
