1 Vs. 100 - Changes To The American Version

Changes To The American Version

The 2008 season brought a noticeable change to the set of 1 vs. 100: the wall of mob members now has a screen in the middle of it on which the question is shown, while the old digital board used for questions now simply displays the show's logo.

The 2010 version brought many noticeable changes, the largest of all being a mob playing via 100 individual webcams being displayed on a large screen. The show is now hosted by Carrie Ann Inaba instead of Bob Saget. The show is also now aired on GSN, and offers a top prize of $50,000 for defeating the mob, versus the $1,000,000 prize on the NBC version.

Famous quotes containing the words american and/or version:

Our American professors like their literature clear and cold and pure and very dead.
    Sinclair Lewis (1885–1951)

Truth cannot be defined or tested by agreement with ‘the world’; for not only do truths differ for different worlds but the nature of agreement between a world apart from it is notoriously nebulous. Rather—speaking loosely and without trying to answer either Pilate’s question or Tarski’s—a version is to be taken to be true when it offends no unyielding beliefs and none of its own precepts.
    Nelson Goodman (b. 1906)
