1994 Wimbledon Championships – Women's Singles

Steffi Graf was the defending champion, but lost in the first round to Lori McNeil. This would be significant as Graf's only loss at Wimbledon between 1991 and 1997, only period where she failed to reach the quarterfinals of a major from 1985 to 1997, and first time that a Wimbledon defending champion failed to win a match.

Conchita Martínez ended up winning the championship, defeating Martina Navratilova in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 6–3.
