Pre-Mediterranean Cup
At the beginning of June 1991, the Pre-Mediterranean Cup was taken out in Georgios Kamaras Stadium with the participation of the best-8 football clubs in Greece, excluding Olympiacos FC, Panathinaikos FC and PAOK FC, as their players were tired of Superleague (A'Ethniki) games. It was something like the Greek League Cup that took place last year. At semi-finals, AEK Athens FC won Apollon Smyrnis 4–2 and OFI Crete won Athinaikos FC. At the final game AEK Athens FC won OFI Crete 1–0 and obtained the title.

Famous quotes containing the word cup:
“There is not enough exercise in this way of life. I try to make up by active gymnastics before I dress when I get up, by walking rapidly in the lower hall and the greenhouse after each meal for perhaps five to ten minutes, and a good hand rubbing before going to bed. I eat moderately; drink one cup of coffee at breakfast and one cup of tea at lunch and no other stimulant. My health is now, and usually, excellent.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
