Style
15 HEAD's productions were marked by a signature style featuring intense physical movement that included music, dance and visually dynamic design.
A unique feature of 15 HEAD was its use of a broad, cross-disciplinary, collaborative rehearsal process. The company of professional directors, designers, actors and writers ignored the traditional problems between their specializations, so that all participants could provide input into each aspect of the production. Although 15 HEAD was inspired by stories, legends and myths through an extensive discovery and rehearsal process, the finished product reflected the individual and collective strengths of each of the company members.

Famous quotes containing the word style:
“A cultivated style would be like a mask. Everybody knows its a mask, and sooner or later you must show yourselfor at least, you show yourself as someone who could not afford to show himself, and so created something to hide behind.... You do not create a style. You work, and develop yourself; your style is an emanation from your own being.”
—Katherine Anne Porter (18901980)
“Everything ponderous, viscous, and solemnly clumsy, all long- winded and boring types of style are developed in profuse variety among Germansforgive me the fact that even Goethes prose, in its mixture of stiffness and elegance, is no exception, being a reflection of the good old time to which it belongs, and a reflection of German taste at a time when there still was a German tasteMa rococo taste in moribus et artibus.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
“All my stories are webs of style and none seems at first blush to contain much kinetic matter.... For me style is matter.”
—Vladimir Nabokov (18991977)
