Legacy
Several photographers and journalists were embedded with the 1st Battalion 12th Infantry Regiment during their 2009-2010 tour to Kandahar. A series of articles published by David Philipps in the Colorado Springs Gazette cronicles the 2nd Battalion of the 12th Infantry Regiment. The series inspired the book Lethal Warriors - When the New Band of Brothers Came Home. which follows the lives of Lethal Warriors members after returning to the United States.
