11th Battalion (Australia) - World War II

World War II

During World War II, like most Militia units, the 11th Bn performed garrison duties for most of the war. It stayed in WA, joining the 4th Division (Australia). The battalion later saw combat during 1944–1945 in the New Britain Campaign. It was disbanded following the end of the war.
