Famous quotes containing the words working, men and/or college:

My whole working philosophy is that the only stable happiness for mankind is that it shall live married in blessed union to woman-kind—intimacy, physical and psychical between a man and his wife. I wish to add that my state of bliss is by no means perfect.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

The greatest public health threat for many American women is the men they live with.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)

A large acquaintance means that many persons are dependent on a man and conversely that he himself is dependent on many. Success necessarily means larger responsibilities, and responsibilities mean many friends.
    Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882–1945)
