Marske-by-the-Sea has three primary schools: Errington Primary School, Westgarth Primary School, and St Bede's R.C. Primary School. The village is served by the following secondary schools: Bydales School located within the village and Rye Hills School, Sacred Heart R.C. Comprehensive School located in Redcar, and Huntcliff School located in Saltburn.
