Walayar

Walayar is a small developing town, located in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India. The Kerala-Tamil Nadu checkpost border is situated here, which is marked by an arch. It is 32 km from Coimbatore and 8 km from Pallakad on NH 47. Tamil and Malayalam are commonly used languages here. It is situated in the border between the states of Kerala and Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu on NH 47 where the sales tax, motor vehicles check post, and excise check posts are located.
