Attempt At Full Immunity and ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Investigation

After Cruz Pezuela persuaded the drug lord Guillermo Beltran to visit from Mexico, it became apparent that Beltran was the major focus of an ongoing ICE investigation. In exchange for developing a Federal case against Beltran, Vic, in order to protect his ex-wife Corrine, decided to arrange for full immunity by admitting to all the crimes he has committed, including the slayings of Detective Terry Crowley, Margos Dezerian, Guardo Lima, and many others. Famous quotes containing the words attempt, full, immunity, ice and/or customs:

Science offends the modesty of all real women. It makes them feel as though it were an attempt to peek under their skin—or, worse yet, under their dress and ornamentation!
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

Every man who possibly can should force himself to a holiday of a full month in a year, whether he feels like taking it or not.
    William James (1842–1910)

When the peace is a trade route, figures
For the budget, reduction of population,
    Life grown sullen and immense
    Lusts after immunity to pain.
    Allen Tate (1899–1979)

    Will lovely, lively, virginal today
Shatter for us with a wing’s drunken blow
This hard, forgotten lake haunted in snow
By the sheer ice of flocks not flown away!
    Stéphane Mallarmé (1842–1898)

Is a civilization naturally backward because it is different? Outside of cannibalism, which can be matched in this country, at least, by lynching, there is no vice and no degradation in native African customs which can begin to touch the horrors thrust upon them by white masters. Drunkenness, terrible diseases, immorality, all these things have been gifts of European civilization.
    —W.E.B. (William Edward Burghardt)
