Vadakkanthara is a place in Palakkad district in kerala, India. Vadakkanthra is known for its temple, Vadakkanthara Bhagavathy Temple and for the beauty of its natural places. It is a village in Vithara which mainly consists of Brahmins (Iyers). The majority of the people are ethnic Tamil Brahmins.
