Famous quotes containing the words team and/or year:

“I doubt if men ever made a trade of heroism. In the days of Achilles, even, they delighted in big barns, and perchance in pressed hay, and he who possessed the most valuable team was the best fellow.”
    —Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

“It’s not that we want the political jobs themselves ... but they seem to be the only language the men understand. We don’t really want these $200 a year jobs. But the average man doesn’t understand working for a cause.”
    —Jennie Carolyn Van Ness (b. c. 1890–?)
