Performance At The Local Nursing Licensure Examinations
During the past, there was a long record of 100% passing rate in the Local Nursing Licensure Examinations. There were several years with board topnotchers. The latest board topnotcher is Emmie Aslor Villamer, who became the tenth placer during the June 2006 examinations. Unfortunately, the time Villamer became a placer, was when the Nursing Leakage Controversy took place, urging all June 2006 passers to retake the said exam.
The passing rate during the June 2006 examinations was 43%. The December 2006 passing rate increased to 62%.

Famous quotes containing the words performance, local and/or nursing:
“True balance requires assigning realistic performance expectations to each of our roles. True balance requires us to acknowledge that our performance in some areas is more important than in others. True balance demands that we determine what accomplishments give us honest satisfaction as well as what failures cause us intolerable grief.”

“Civility, which is a disposition to accommodate and oblige others, is essentially the same in every country; but good breeding, as it is called, which is the manner of exerting that disposition, is different in almost every country, and merely local; and every man of sense imitates and conforms to that local good breeding of the place which he is at.”
—Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (16941773)
“There is a certain amount of purpose, acquiescence, and satisfaction in nursing ones melancholy.”
