Tribulation

The Great Tribulation (Greek: θλιψις μεγαλη, thlipsis megalē) refers to tumultuous events that are described during the "signs of the times", first mentioned by Jesus in the Olivet discourse. The Great Tribulation is also referenced in the Book of Revelation.
