Tokyo Disneysea - Symbols

Symbols

The park's two symbols are the DisneySea AquaSphere - a water fountain with a large model of the earth - in the entrance plaza, and the gigantic volcano, Mount Prometheus, located in the center of the park. Mount Prometheus and Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland, the other park in the resort, are exactly the same height.

Famous quotes containing the word symbols:

    That way of inspiration
    is always open,
    and open to everyone;
    it acts as go-between, interpreter,
    it explains symbols of the past
    in to-day’s imagery.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)

    And into the gulf between cantankerous reality and the male ideal of shaping your world, sail the innocent children. They are right there in front of us—wild, irresponsible symbols of everything else we can’t control.
    Hugh O’Neill (20th century)

    For all symbols are fluxional; all language is vehicular and transitive, and is good, as ferries and horses are, for conveyance, not as farms and houses are, for homestead.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
