Time Machine (roller Coaster)

Time Machine (roller Coaster)

The Time Machine is a steel roller coaster that is currently standing but not operating at Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The ride, manufactured by the Swiss company Bolliger & Mabillard, opened to the public on April 15, 2008, under the name Led Zeppelin – The Ride as part of Hard Rock Park. Due to financial issues Hard Rock Park was sold and renamed after just one year. These same financial issues continued for the new owners resulting in the park shutting down in 2009. As of 2013, The Time Machine and the rest of Freestyle Music Park remain standing but not operating.

Famous quotes containing the words time and/or machine:

Of what use were it, pray, to get a little wood to burn, to warm your body this cold weather, if there were not a divine fire kindled at the same time to warm your spirit?
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

I find it hard to believe that the machine would go into the creative artist’s hand even were that magic hand in true place. It has been too far exploited by industrialism and science at expense to art and true religion.
    Frank Lloyd Wright (1869–1959)
