The Russell Howard Show
The Russell Howard and Jon Richardson Show was a UK radio show on digital station BBC 6 Music that aired from 10.00am - 1.00pm on Sundays. It was presented by comedians Russell Howard and Jon Richardson. It follows the two from when they shared a flat, to when Jon purchased a house and moved out.
The two began hosting the show on 12 November 2006, taking over the slot vacated by comedian Russell Brand when he moved to Radio 2 on Saturday nights. Originally the show also featured the presenters' friend and fellow comedian Sam Thomas, who left in early 2007, occasionally appearing thereafter in recorded skits.
The show was replaced by The Jon Richardson Show, which ended on 7 March 2010.

Famous quotes containing the words russell, howard and/or show:
“How like a prodigal doth nature seem,
When thou, for all thy gold, so common art!
Thou teachest me to deem
More sacredly of every human heart,
Since each reflects in joy its scanty gleam
Of Heaven, and could some wondrous secret show,
Did we but pay the love we owe,
And with a childs undoubting wisdom look
On all these living pages of Gods book.”
—James Russell Lowell (18191891)
“Fiddle-dee-dee! War, war, war. This war talks spoiling all the fun at every party this spring. I get so bored I could scream. Besides, there isnt going to be any war.”
—Sidney Howard (18911939)
“They are, as it were, train-bearers in the pageant of life, and hold a glass up to humanity, frailer than itself. We see ourselves at second-hand in them: they show us all that we are, all that we wish to be, and all that we dread to be.... What brings the resemblance nearer is, that, as they imitate us, we, in our turn, imitate them.... There is no class of society whom so many persons regard with affection as actors.”
—William Hazlitt (17781830)
