Famous quotes containing the words rolling and/or stones:
“I caught this morning mornings minion, king-
dom of daylights dauphin, dapple-dawn-drawn Falcon, in his riding
Of the rolling level underneath him steady air, and striding
High there, how he rung upon the rein of a wimpling wing
In his ecstasy!”
—Gerard Manley Hopkins (18441889)
“As the builders say, the larger stones do not lie well without the lesser.”
—Plato (c. 427347 B.C.)
