  • A red team placement indicates that the team was eliminated.
  • A blue team placement indicates that the team was the last to arrive at a Pit Stop in a non-elimination leg of the race:
    • An underlined blue placement indicates that the team was "Marked for Elimination"; if the team did not place 1st in the next leg, they would receive a 30 minute penalty.
    • An italicised blue placement indicates that the team had to relinquish all of their money and were not alloted money for the next leg.
  • A green ƒ indicates that the team won a Fast Forward clue.
  • Matching coloured symbols (orange +, magenta ^, and brown ~) indicate teams who worked together during part of the leg as a result of the Intersection.
  • A yellow > indicates that the team chose to use the Yield; < indicates the team who received it; <> around the leg number indicates that the Yield for that leg was available but not used.
  • Italicised results indicate the position of the team at the midpoint of a two-episode leg.
  1. a b c Edwin & Monica, Terri & Henri and Paula & Nathasa had been respectively marked for elimination. However, Since the teams checked-in last, each teams were eliminated without issuing the 30-minute penalty.
  2. ^ Brett & Kinaryosih were unable to complete the Detour on Leg 3, since they arrived at the North Shore Rowing Club after business hours - they backed out of the Wall Detour. All remaining teams had checked in, so they were told to go straight to the Pit Stop, where they were eliminated.
  3. ^ Sophie & Aurelia were unable to complete both the Roadblock and Detour since they arrived at Okere Falls after closing down for the day. After all teams had checked in, Allan came to the location (Okere Falls) and eliminated them.
  4. ^ Leg 5 was double-length with two Detours and two Roadblocks shown over two episodes. The Yield appeared before the second Detour.
  5. ^ Terri & Henry used their Yield power on Marc & Rovilson who were ahead of them. thus the Yield had no effect.
  6. ^a b For unknown reasons on the subsequent Leg, the starting placements of Natasha & Paula and Ann & Diane were switched, resulting in Natasha & Paula starting in 4th place and Ann & Diane starting in 5th.
  7. ^a b Adrian & Collin and Pamela & Vanessa initially arrived in 1st and 3rd, respectively, but they did not park their vehicles at the designated parking zones and entered through the wrong gates. They had to backtrack and correct those mistakes, but this did not ultimately affect either of the teams' placements.

Famous quotes containing the word results:

The chief benefit, which results from philosophy, arises in an indirect manner, and proceeds more from its secret, insensible influence, than from its immediate application.
    David Hume (1711–1776)

Consider what you have in the smallest chosen library. A company of the wisest and wittiest men that could be picked out of all civil countries in a thousand years have set in best order the results of their learning and wisdom. The men themselves were hid and inaccessible, solitary, impatient of interruption, fenced by etiquette; but the thought which they did not uncover in their bosom friend is here written out in transparent words to us, the strangers of another age.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Different persons growing up in the same language are like different bushes trimmed and trained to take the shape of identical elephants. The anatomical details of twigs and branches will fulfill the elephantine form differently from bush to bush, but the overall outward results are alike.
Willard Van Orman Quine (b. 1908)
