  • A red team placement indicates that the team was eliminated.
  • A green ƒ indicates that the team won a Fast Forward clue.
  • An underlined blue team's placement indicates that the team came in last on a non-elimination leg and had to perform a Speed Bump task in the following leg.
  • A brown ⊃ means the team chose to use a U-Turn; ⊂ indicates the team who received it; ⊂⊃ around a leg number indicates a leg where the U-Turn was available but not used.
  1. ^ Kelly & Christy were not shown in the broadcast when they arrived at the clue box, which was at Pelourinho, but we did see them complete the Soft Way Down Detour while they were currently in 5th place.
  2. ^ Mark & Bill initially arrived 8th, but were issued a 30-minute penalty for taking a taxi instead of going on foot to Bumpy Ride the Detour. During this time, Kelly & Christy – the only team trailing them at that point – were able to check in and Mark & Bill were eliminated before the 30 minutes elapsed.
  3. ^ Terence & Sarah initially arrived 3rd, but were issued a 30-minute penalty for speeding and was issued at the start of the next leg. They thus departed 5th in the next leg.
  4. ^ Andrew & Dan initially arrived 4th, but took a taxi to the Pit Stop instead of going on foot as stated on the clue. Instead of waiting out a 30-minute penalty, Phil told them to go back to the end of the Detour and walk back to the Pit Stop. This did not affect their placement.
  5. ^ Ken & Tina initially arrived 3rd but had missed the clue directing them to the Pit Stop, having arrived there by chance while searching for the clue. They were required to retrieve the missed clue at the end of the Detour and return to the Pit Stop. This did not affect their placement.
  6. ^ Toni & Dallas were initially denied their clue at the Detour starting point for taking the Metro instead of a taxi and the lady with a Shetland Pony required them to go back to the end of the Roadblock and return to the Detour starting point via taxi. Later, when all the other teams had checked in at the Pit Stop, Phil came to the Rizhskaya Station and eliminated them while they were still performing the Ride the Lines Detour.

Famous quotes containing the word results:

Nothing is as difficult as to achieve results in this world if one is filled full of great tolerance and the milk of human kindness. The person who achieves must generally be a one-ideaed individual, concentrated entirely on that one idea, and ruthless in his aspect toward other men and other ideas.
    Corinne Roosevelt Robinson (1861–1933)

The restlessness that comes upon girls upon summer evenings results in lasting trouble unless it is speedily controlled. The right kind of man does not look for a wife on the streets, and the right kind of girl waits till the man comes to her home for her.
    Sedalia Times (1900)

Pain itself can be pleasurable accidentally in so far as it is accompanied by wonder, as in stage-plays; or in so far as it recalls a beloved object to one’s memory, and makes one feel one’s love for the thing, whose absence gives us pain. Consequently, since love is pleasant, both pain and whatever else results from love, in so far as they remind us of our love, are pleasant.
    Thomas Aquinas (c. 1225–1274)
