The 1942 Philadelphia City Title high-school football game was played at Temple Stadium. Northeast High School defeated St. Joe's Prep 7 to 0 on a snow-covered field.
The stadium was host to a concert held on May 16, 1970. The performers included Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, The Steve Miller Band and Cactus.
