The 12 primary schools, 9 secondary schools and three tertiary institutions (one Junior College, one Polytechnic and one Institute of Technical Education) provide education for Tampines residents, as well as those living in the region. There are also plans to add new schools in Tampines due to a high demands for schools in the East Region of the city-state of Singapore.
