Sweater Vest - Fashion

Fashion

Sleeveless sweaters are popular among sports fans, especially those who play golf. Those with sports team logos, especially NFL and college teams, are also popular and are frequently seen being worn by American football coaches, most notably Jim Tressel who has been given the nickname "The Sweater Vest" by many American football fans despite the garment's origins at rival Michigan.

Famous quotes containing the word fashion:

    How dwarfed against his manliness
    She sees the poor pretension,
The wants, the aims, the follies, born
    Of fashion and convention!
    John Greenleaf Whittier (1807–1892)

Your rat tail is all the fashion now. I prefer a bushy plume, carried straight up. You are Siamese and your ancestors lived in trees. Mine lived in palaces. It has been suggested to me that I am a bit of a snob. How true! I prefer to be.
    Raymond Chandler (1888–1959)

Men expect too much, do too little,
Put the contraption before the accomplishment,
Lack skill of the interior mind
To fashion dignity with shapes of air.
    Luxury, yes but not elegance!
    Allen Tate (1899–1979)
