Suceava (; German: Suczawa, Polish: Suczawa, Ukrainian: Сучава, Yiddish: שאָץ ) is the Suceava County seat in Bukovina, Moldavia region, in north-eastern Romania. The city was the capital of the Principality of Moldavia from 1388 to 1565.
