Stagecoach South is an operating division of the Stagecoach UK Bus. The headquarters of the division are situated in Chichester, England. Stagecoach South carries 29.5 million passengers a year with a fleet of 460 buses and 950 staff.
It is branded as three sub-divisions: Stagecoach in Hampshire, Stagecoach in Hants & Surrey, and Stagecoach in the South Downs. The legal titles of these three divisions are Hampshire Bus Company Limited, Stagecoach South Limited, and Southdown Motor Services Limited respectively. Part of the Southdown company is also branded as Stagecoach Portsmouth.
Portsmouth area services are operated from the Depot in Walton Road. Farlington provides services to Portsmouth, Waterlooville, Havant and Hayling Island, Cowplain, Horndean, Petersfield and Liss.
The PLUSBUS service is available through National Rail and Stagecoach at selected stations including Havant and Winchester which are operated by South West Trains a part of the Stagecoach Group.
