The society holds the annual Independence Cup for football, played with teams comprising four house teams, one prefects’ team, one senior staff team, one service staff team, two alumni teams and one parents team, on 15 August.

The society hosts an Annual Dinner. The society has a website.

The members of the Alumni are encouraged to be present at the annual Founder's Day Service, held on the 25th July. Students of class 12 are encouraged to join the Alumni.

Famous quotes containing the words school and/or association:

I seemed intent on making it as difficult for myself as possible to pursue my “male” career goal. I not only procrastinated endlessly, submitting my medical school application at the very last minute, but continued to crave a conventional female role even as I moved ahead with my “male” pursuits.
    Margaret S. Mahler (1897–1985)

It is not merely the likeness which is precious ... but the association and the sense of nearness involved in the thing ... the fact of the very shadow of the person lying there fixed forever! It is the very sanctification of portraits I think—and it is not at all monstrous in me to say ... that I would rather have such a memorial of one I dearly loved, than the noblest Artist’s work ever produced.
    Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806–1861)
