Administrative Officers
The department's day to day business operations and department meetings are run by the President of the fire department, along with other executive officers such as a secretary and treasurer.
The Department receives no tax dollars (see the "Fire District" section below for how operational expenses are obtained)
One of the main purposes of the administrative officers, the Board of Directors and Examining Board is to screen applicants for membership into the department before they are approved for membership by the existing fire department members. Upon approval by the fire department membership, candidates are interviewed by the Board of Fire Commissioners and must be approved by the Board of Fire Commissioners before becoming members.
