Sweden
The Instrument of Government (Regeringsformen) in the Constitution of Sweden allows an "extra election". The wording is used to make clear it does not change the period to the next ordinary election. Any new deputies who win seats in such an election merely serve out the balance of the four-year parliamentary term.
