Secondary School Certificate

The Secondary School Certificate', also known as SSC, is a public examination taken by students in Bangladesh, Pakistan and in the states of Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Goa in India. SSC is an equivalent to GCSE in England.

In 2010, 1,626,342 students, including 9,01,417 boys, took this examination at 3,692 centres spread across the state of Maharashtra in India.
