Market

In 2012, North American advertisers spent US$19.51 billion on search engine marketing. The largest SEM vendors were Google AdWords and Bing Ads (Yahoo! Search Marketing and Microsoft adCenter combined.) As of 2006, SEM was growing much faster than traditional advertising and even other channels of online marketing. Some marketers have difficulty understanding the intricacies of search engine marketing and choose to rely on third party agencies to manage their search marketing.

Famous quotes containing the word market:

But the nomads were the terror of all those whom the soil or the advantages of the market had induced to build towns. Agriculture therefore was a religious injunction, because of the perils of the state from nomadism.

When General Motors has to go to the bathroom ten times a day, the whole country’s ready to let go. You heard of that market crash in ‘29? I predicted that.... I was nursing a director of General Motors. Kidney ailment, they said; nerves, I said. Then I asked myself, “What’s General Motors got to be nervous about?” “Overproduction,” I says. “Collapse.”
    John Michael Hayes (b. 1919)

At market and fair, all folks do declare,
There is none like the Boy that sold Broom, green Broom.
