Alex Miller of The Guardian, awarding it 'single of the week' on 19 September 2009, stated: 'Maybe when the industry catches up with them and 2011 is rammed with music that sounds like a neurotic death rave of farting Klangers I'll resent them, but until then this is what I'm all about. Famous quotes containing the words cultural and/or influence:

All cultural change reduces itself to a difference of categories. All revolutions, whether in the sciences or world history, occur merely because spirit has changed its categories in order to understand and examine what belongs to it, in order to possess and grasp itself in a truer, deeper, more intimate and unified manner.
    Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831)

Power lasts ten years; influence not more than a hundred.
Korean proverb, quoted in Alan L. Mackay, The Harvest of a Quiet Eye (1977)
