Sahowala

Sahowala is a town in tehsil Sambrial district Sialkot, (Pakistan). It is located between the Upper Chenab Canal and the Marala-Ravi Canal of the Marala Headworks project. Demographically, the town has a Union Council which is one of largest council of Sialkot, having a population almost 20 thousand which cover six neighbouring villages. Many residents work on farms; others work abroad and serve in industry and government. The Sialkot Tanneries Zone is nearby. Minhaj ul Quran Islamic Library is the public library, along Noor Mosque, which has the highest minaret in the district Sialkot. This historical village has the history away back more than 800 years.
