Youth Development
The club hosts numerous age brackets with a number of youth coaches. Many notable footballers have graduated from Al Sadd's academy, including Jafal Al Kuwari, Khalid Salman, Hassan Al Haidos and former Asian player of the year, Khalfan Ibrahim. They have a youth development programme, which instills philosophies and enforces training ideals amongst the youth players. The programme currently has 284 participants enrolled as of 2011. Break-up is as follows:
