Current Squad
Romania's 32 man squad for the match against Japan in the Autumn Internationals. Alex Manta was later added to the squad 5 days after the main squad was named. For the match against USA, Ovidiu Tonița and Mihai Lazăr were added to the squad.
Paulică Ion (London Welsh), Mihai Lazăr (Castres) and Andrei Ursache (Carcassonne) all opted to remain with their clubs to protect their contracts. Dorin Manole was not selected due to "personal problems". Valentin Calafeteanu was ruled out by injury.
