Game Rules
Each "manager" (player) takes control of either robot: the "Red Rocker" (red) or the "Blue Bomber" (blue), both of which are standing on a platform molded in bright yellow hi-impact polystyrene plastic, representing a boxing ring. By pushing plunger buttons on a pair of joysticks at the base of the platform, players make their robot punch at their opponent's robot. If a robot's head is hit with sufficient force at a suitable angle, the head will overextend away from the shoulders, signifying that the other player has won the round.

Famous quotes containing the words game and/or rules:
“I hate that aesthetic game of the eye and the mind, played by these connoisseurs, these mandarins who appreciate beauty. What is beauty, anyway? Theres no such thing. I never appreciate, any more than I like. I love or I hate.”
—Pablo Picasso (18811973)
“However patriarchal the world, at home the child knows that his mother is the source of all power. The hand that rocks the cradle rules his world. . . . The son never forgets that he owes his life to his mother, not just the creation of it but the maintenance of it, and that he owes her a debt he cannot conceivably repay, but which she may call in at any time.”
—Frank Pittman (20th century)
