Administration

Radford current president is Penelope Ward Kyle, who has served in that role since 2005. The university's administration is overseen by a 13-member board that was created under Virginia state law. Eleven of the members are appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth and serve four-year terms. Each year the Board also selects a student and a faculty member to serve as advisory representatives on the Board.
