Weapon Shot
Many items are used as weapons in professional wrestling. Some of the more common weapons used include chairs, guitars, folding tables, title belts, "kendo sticks", and trash cans. While picking up the upper half of the ring steps for use as a weapon is illegal, slamming an opponent into the ring steps is not considered illegal, though it is frowned upon. However, these weapons are legal in hardcore matches.

Famous quotes containing the words weapon and/or shot:
“The aim of poetry, it appears, is to fill the mind with lofty thoughtsnot to give it joy, but to give it a grand and somewhat gaudy sense of virtue. The essay is a weapon against the degenerate tendencies of the age. The novel, properly conceived, is a means of uplifting the spirit; its aim is to inspire, not merely to satisfy the low curiosity of man in man.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
“I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;”
—Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (18091882)
